Apple TV first launched the series in 2024, and a month ago, the novel’s follow-up, titled The First Time I Saw Him, was released. Now, the series is returning for its second season, which is based on this new literary work.

The Last Thing He Told Me is set to premiere its first episode on Friday, February 20, with subsequent episodes dropping weekly until April 10.

Here is Apple’s official synopsis, followed by the trailer:

In season two of “The Last Thing He Told Me,” when Owen (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) shows up after five years on the run, Hannah (Jennifer Garner) and her stepdaughter Bailey (Angourie Rice) find themselves in a race to figure out how to reunite their family before the past catches up to them.

Imperfect Women premieres March 18

Imperfect Women is a newly released series also adapted from a novel, penned by Araminta Hall.

This eight-episode limited series is classified by Apple as a ‘psychological thriller.’ Its ensemble cast includes Elisabeth Moss, Kerry Washington, Kate Mara, Joel Kinnaman, Corey Stoll, Leslie Odom Jr., and more.

The series’ creator and showrunner is Annie Weisman, known for her work on Apple TV’s dark comedy Physical, starring Rose Byrne.

Imperfect Women is scheduled to debut on Wednesday, March 18 with its first two episodes, followed by weekly releases concluding on April 29.

Here is the narrative summary, followed by Apple’s promotional trailer:

“Imperfect Women” examines a crime that shatters the lives of three women in a decades-long friendship. The unconventional thriller explores guilt and retribution, love and betrayal, and the compromises we make that irrevocably alter our lives. As the investigation unfolds, so does the truth about how even the closest friendships may not be what they seem.
