Ticketmaster has announced it will re-release tickets for Harry Styles’ forthcoming New York City concerts that were initially bought by unauthorized resellers.
Through a public statement shared on social media, Ticketmaster President Saumil Mehta explained that the company identified scalpers employing multiple accounts and false identities to acquire tickets at face value, intending to resell them at inflated prices.
Ticketmaster confirmed that these illicit purchases have been canceled, and the tickets will now be made available to genuine fans at their original selling prices.
Mehta emphasized that these cancellations do not impact anyone who secured tickets directly from Ticketmaster or acquired them legitimately via Ticketmaster’s transfer or resale services.
How to acquire tickets
Concertgoers can submit ticket requests on Ticketmaster’s official Harry Styles page beginning at 12:00 PM on Thursday, April 30. The window for ticket requests will close at 5:00 PM on Friday, May 1.
Ticketmaster clarified that submitting a request does not assure an opportunity to purchase tickets.
Successful applicants whose ticket requests are approved will receive an email confirmation of their order by 11:59 PM on May 8.
The exact number of tickets that will be offered was not disclosed by Ticketmaster.
Ticketmaster stated that every available ticket will be priced below $130, with 19% of those options costing less than $50.
Harry Styles’ Madison Square Garden residency
Styles’ two-month engagement at Madison Square Garden forms part of his upcoming “Together, Together” tour, which promotes his latest album, “Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally.” Initial ticket sales commenced in late January.
The tour is set to begin in Amsterdam in May, followed by stops in London, São Paulo, and Mexico City before reaching New York in August.
Styles is scheduled to perform 30 concerts between August 26 and October 31, featuring musician Jamie xx as a special guest.
The tour will then conclude with dates in Australia during November and December.
Styles previously held a sold-out 15-show residency at Madison Square Garden in 2022 as part of his “Love On Tour” global trek.
