Marsh will not be in the lineup for Wednesday’s game against the Cubs.
Despite being a left-handed hitter, Marsh was in the Phillies’ lineup Tuesday to face Cubs southpaw Shota Imanaga. However, the outfielder will sit out Wednesday’s contest as Chicago brings another left-handed pitcher, Matthew Boyd, to the mound. Justin Crawford, who was rested during Tuesday’s 7-4 defeat, is set to return to the starting nine in center field, filling Marsh’s spot on Wednesday.
