The upcoming episode will feature a compelling one-on-one interview with legendary singer-songwriter Paul Anka, fresh off the release of his 37th studio album, “Inspirations of Life and Love,” and spotlighted in the HBO Original documentary “Paul Anka: His Way.” Joining the roundtable for a robust panel discussion will be Republican Congresswoman Lauren Boebert, representing Colorado’s 4th district, and Texas’s Democratic state representative James Talarico, who is campaigning for the 2026 U.S. Senate Democratic primary.
Bill Maher’s extensive history with HBO began in 1989 with his inaugural special. Since then, he has fronted 13 solo specials for the network, a list that includes acclaimed titles such as “Bill Maher: Be More Cynical” (2000), “I’m Swiss” (2005), “Bill Maher… But I’m Not Wrong” (2010), “Bill Maher: Live from Oklahoma” (2018), and his most recent, “#Adulting” (2022).
A testament to his enduring impact, Maher has accumulated an impressive 41 Emmy nominations across his tenures with both “Politically Incorrect” and “Real Time.” His 13th HBO comedy special, titled “Bill Maher: Is Anyone Else Seeing This?”, premiered on January 10, 2025, on HBO and is also available for streaming on HBO Max.
