The representative states … “The fact is that on March 2, 2024, Mr. Glover was subjected to an unprovoked felony assault by Jane Doe at his Los Angeles residence. Mr. Glover contacted the LAPD, who responded, conducted an investigation, and subsequently arrested Jane Doe. These events are corroborated by law enforcement records and the restraining order Mr. Glover obtained against Jane Doe at that time.”
The statement concludes … “Mr. Glover intends to vigorously defend himself and pursue all available legal remedies. He is confident that the judicial process will reveal this lawsuit to be a baseless fabrication.”
Crispin Glover, known for his role in “Back To The Future,” allegedly enticed a U.K. model to become his live-in girlfriend and unpaid assistant in Los Angeles. She claims he later locked her out of his residence and physically assaulted her, leaving her homeless, according to details from a new lawsuit.
Crispin is facing a lawsuit from a Jane Doe, who alleges he lured her from Europe to L.A. with false assurances of a new life and career in the entertainment industry. Instead, she claims Crispin revealed himself to be a violent and controlling individual.
The lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, states the woman first connected with Crispin via social media in 2015, and he continued to message her for years, encouraging her to move to L.A. She claims he made peculiar advances, and during their in-person meeting in Dresden, Germany, in 2023, he allegedly showed her Nazi memorabilia from his collection.
The woman states she maintained communication with Crispin despite his peculiar conduct, as he consistently offered her potential career prospects in Hollywood. In early 2024, she claims he promised she could reside in his Silver Lake home and serve as his assistant.
She asserts that Crispin coerced her into discontinuing rent payments for her European apartment and persuaded her to sell her possessions before relocating to live with him. Upon her arrival in L.A., she reportedly discovered he expected her to be his live-in girlfriend and work without pay.
The woman recounts having no family, friends, or contacts in L.A., rendering her primarily dependent on Crispin. She claims he monitored her movements and attempted to dictate her whereabouts and interactions.
Court documents allege that on March 2, 2024, the woman informed Crispin of her intention to visit a mosque. She claims Crispin warned her she would be locked out if she left, but she disregarded his threat and departed. Upon her return, she found herself locked out, with Crispin reportedly telling her to find new accommodation.
Crucially, the woman states all her personal belongings and cats remained inside the house. She alleges that when she tried to re-enter to retrieve her pets, Crispin supposedly assaulted her, grabbing her neck and putting her in a headlock, which left a visible injury and scar.
The woman further claims that Crispin subsequently contacted the police, filing a false report that accused her of being an unlawful trespasser.
According to law enforcement sources who spoke with TMZ, officers responded to an assault report at Crispin’s Silver Lake residence on March 2, 2024, but no arrests were made. We are informed that Crispin initiated the call, alleging that he was assaulted by a man and a woman.
The lawsuit documents indicate that Crispin then sought a restraining order against her, which she asserts has caused lasting harm to her professional standing and public image.
She claims Crispin persistently contacted her, attempting to coerce her into a sexual relationship. Currently, she states she remains unhoused and suffers from emotional trauma stemming from the ordeal.
The woman is seeking monetary damages from Crispin. She is being represented by attorney Dev Das from the Geragos & Geragos law firm.
