Giannis Antetokounmpo Set to Return for Bucks on Monday Night vs. Celtics

Giannis Antetokounmpo is preparing to return to the court for the Bucks, following an injury absence of several weeks and extensive trade rumors.

According to Shams Charania of ESPN, Antetokounmpo is anticipated to make his comeback in Monday night’s game in Milwaukee, where the Bucks will face the Celtics. This marks his first appearance since the Jan. 23 defeat against the Nuggets.

Antetokounmpo’s absence, due to a right calf strain, has spanned more than a month. During this period, Milwaukee maintained an 8–7 record. Currently, with an overall record of 26–33, the Bucks sit 11th in the Eastern Conference, just outside the play-in tournament picture. They are three games behind the 10th-place Hornets, who have seen a recent surge, in the race for the last postseason spot.
