Robert Beal, formerly a fifth-round pick for the San Francisco 49ers, is joining the Miami Dolphins on a one-year contract. The 49ers chose not to extend a qualifying offer to Beal, meaning his signing will not factor into the compensatory pick calculation.
Keaton Mitchell, considered one of the NFL’s fastest players, has been signed by Mike McDaniel. The running back is now with the Chargers, having not received a tender from the Ravens.
Linebacker Dre Greenlaw has been officially released by the Broncos, designated as a post-June 1 cut. While Greenlaw is expected to be a popular target for many fans, the Niners might have extracted maximum value from him. His history of injuries suggests that his drawbacks could now overshadow his strengths. We await news on his next team and contract terms.
Should the 49ers seek to add another experienced wide receiver, potential candidates include Tyreek Hill, Stefon Diggs, Christian Kirk, Deebo Samuel, Darnell Mooney, and Dyami Brown.
The available safeties present a less compelling group. Jaquan Brisker, Andre Cisco, Kyle Dugger, Donovan Wilson, Tony Adams, Harrison Smith, and Geno Stone are among those on the market.
The 49ers also have the option to re-sign some of their current players, such as Jennings, Spencer Burford, Eric Kendricks, and Luke Gifford.
We will continue to provide updates on any additional signings throughout the day.

The Miami Dolphins are also signing Tutu Atwell, a former Rams receiver, to a one-year contract. Atwell, a Miami native, previously signed a one-year, $10 million extension with the Rams last offseason, but only managed six receptions for 192 yards last year.
