Metallica announces new residency at Sphere Las Vegas

Metallica is officially slated to headline Sphere Las Vegas this fall.

The iconic metal band announced their “Life Burns Faster” residency at the venue, featuring eight performances scheduled for October.

Tickets will be available starting March 6. Fans can register online at metallica.lnk.to/MetallicaSphere.

The “Life Burns Faster” event will adhere to a “no repeat weekend” policy, meaning no songs will be played twice across the Thursday and Saturday shows throughout the engagement.

Sphere states that Metallica’s residency will showcase beloved live classics and unexpected selections from the band’s vast catalog.

“This residency provides us with yet another opportunity to reimagine how we connect with our fans in a live environment,” co-founder and drummer Lars Ulrich remarked in a press statement. “We are incredibly excited to share this with the world in six months, and absolutely [expletive] thrilled to take it to the next level!”

Metallica’s acclaimed songs include “Enter Sandman,” “Master of Puppets,” “Nothing Else Matters,” and “Fade to Black.” The band has sold over 163 million albums globally.
