TVLine offers an exclusive sneak peek as “Boston Blue” prepares for a reunion of the Reagan siblings.
Bridget Moynahan is set to join her onscreen brother Donnie Wahlberg in the “Blue Bloods” spin-off, “Boston Blue,” for its Friday, May 1 episode. She will be returning as ADA Erin Reagan, a role she hasn’t played since the series pilot.
Season 1, Episode 17 will see Danny collaborating with a recognizable associate—Erin—in a critical mission against the clock, following a serial killer’s lead on a vanished child. Concurrently, Rev. Peters’ impending heart surgery brings buried secrets to light, compelling the Silver family members “to confront personal truths.”

Erin’s previous appearance on “Boston Blue” was during the October 17 premiere, where she visited Boston to support her brother and his comatose son, Sean. Series co-creator Brandon Margolis explained to TVLine why Erin was the ideal Reagan for that pilot episode visit: “We admired that Erin consistently looked out for Danny, even when he wouldn’t admit he needed help…. She would enter that hospital room, organize things, and challenge him to be upset with her. That’s her nature — and Bridget was fantastic to have on set.”
Following that, Len Cariou made a guest appearance as Henry, the Reagan family patriarch, in Episode 13. Marisa Ramirez has also featured in four episodes to date, including Episode 15, which depicted Danny and Baez’s split. However, at a recent CBS Fest event, Wahlberg confirmed to Parade that Ramirez will reprise her role as Maria in the May 22 season finale, hinting at a potential return for Danny’s ex-partner in Season 2 this autumn.
