By 1:03 p.m. PT, over 6,800 users had reported issues with the platform, according to Downdetector, a service that compiles status reports from various sources to track outages.
The majority of users submitting problem reports to Downdetector specified difficulties with Claude Chat.
Claude’s official status checker noted: “A fix has been implemented and we are monitoring the results.”

Following a temporary reduction in reports, new complaints began to surge once more, with over 10,000 users now indicating problems with Claude AI.
Claude’s updated status checker currently states: “We are currently investigating this issue. We have identified mitigations which we are continuing to regularly employ as we investigate the root cause.”
