PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD Radio) – Val Chmerkovskiy, a professional dancer from Dancing with the Stars, was in Peoria on Sunday to perform at the Prairie Home Alliance Theater.
After completing the show, he later informed his fans on Facebook that he had been admitted to a Peoria hospital room.
Chmerkovskiy shared, “The physician was excellent – a big shout-out to Claire, our tour’s physical therapist, and everyone on our tour for their collective support. I’ve been experiencing vertigo for the past few days, and it was particularly bad yesterday.”
Chmerkovskiy, a consistent fan favorite on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars, is currently traveling nationwide as part of a tour.
He explained that being on a moving bus exacerbated his dizziness, making it impossible for him to feel steady.
Chmerkovskiy hopes to return to performing on stage in the near future.
