Darius Slay: No team can call me but the Eagles

After being waived by the Steelers last season and subsequently claimed by the Bills, Slay chose not to play in Buffalo. However, he did attend an Eagles playoff game in Philadelphia, and he now states that the Eagles are the only team he would consider joining in 2026.

In a brief video clip shared on social media, which Slay himself re-posted, he asserts that only the Eagles are permitted to contact him.

“Only the Eagles can call me. No other team can call me, everyone knows that,” Slay declared.

The 35-year-old Slay might opt for retirement if he doesn’t secure a spot with the Eagles, where he previously played from 2020 to 2024. During his tenure with the Eagles, Slay earned a Super Bowl ring and was selected for three Pro Bowls. He also played for the Lions from 2013 to 2019 and appeared in 10 games for the Steelers last season.
