The Falcons have announced they are collecting information regarding an allegation of violence against a woman made against assistant defensive line coach LaTroy Lewis.
In a statement, the Falcons acknowledged, “We are aware of allegations regarding LaTroy Lewis. We are in the process of gathering information and will have no further comment at this time.”
This statement from the Falcons follows social media posts by reporter Justin Spiro, which detailed accusations of violence leveled by a woman against Lewis. The alleged incidents reportedly took place while Lewis was an assistant coach at Michigan during 2023 and 2024.
Lewis, 32, had a brief playing career in the NFL and has been coaching at the college level since 2020. He was hired by the Falcons as their assistant defensive line coach earlier this month.
