Gracie Hunt, daughter of Kansas City Chiefs owner Clark Hunt, revealed her engagement earlier this week.
Hunt shared the news of her engagement to Derek Green, son of former Chiefs quarterback Trent Green, through a photo montage.
“It was always you,” the couple declared in a joint Instagram post, adorned with emojis of a ring, a red heart, and an infinity symbol. “‘And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.’ Romans 8:28.”

The couple shared 14 photographs, featuring a shot of Green proposing on one knee to an emotional Hunt, a detailed close-up of the engagement ring, an image of Green and Clark Hunt shaking hands, and both mothers capturing the moment.
Hunt also uploaded a video, filmed by her mother, moments before her engagement, which she titled “POV: walking towards your forever.”
She traveled via golf cart to a boardwalk, then proceeded on foot to meet Green, who was elegantly dressed in a white suit.
The couple also marked Easter Sunday with a social media post.
“Thank You, Jesus — for salvation, for love, and for this beautiful chapter You’ve written for us. You painted the purest picture of love the world has ever seen, and today we celebrate that gift,” they shared. “As we step into this new season of life together, our prayer is simple — to love each other the way You loved the church. Selflessly. Faithfully. Completely. Happy Easter from our hearts to yours.”

While Green didn’t achieve the same level of football fame as his father, he still competed for four seasons at SMU, followed by an additional season at Long Island University.
Hunt had previously been in a relationship with Cody Keith, a former East Carolina University quarterback who pursued opportunities in several NFL training camps and garnered some interest from the Canadian Football League, having also formed a friendship with Patrick Mahomes.
Speculation about their separation emerged early last year, and Hunt subsequently confirmed a new relationship around this time a year ago.
