SAN ANTONIO – Authorities are actively seeking the driver responsible for a hit-and-run incident that injured a woman and involved two other vehicles.
The collision took place on Friday at approximately 9:50 p.m. at the crossroads of Ruiz Street and South Zarzamora Street.
Reports from the San Antonio Police Department indicate that a Hyundai Tucson, heading west on Ruiz Street, disregarded a red light at the intersection, subsequently striking a Jeep Cherokee and a Toyota Corolla.
Immediately after the impact, the driver of the Hyundai exited their vehicle and fled the scene, failing to exchange information or offer aid to those involved in the crash.
The 57-year-old woman who was driving the Jeep Cherokee was transported to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
