It’s been a little while since fans last enjoyed a fresh episode of Saturday Night Live Season 51, with the previous one airing on March 14. That memorable evening featured pop sensation Harry Styles taking on both hosting and musical guest duties, delivering standout performances in sketches such as “MAHAspital,” “Sebastian Maniscalco: New Lawyer,” and the festive “She’s an Irish Dancer.”
Since that last broadcast, SNL has been on a short break. Interestingly, new episodes of Saturday Night Live UK recently premiered, featuring Tina Fey and Jamie Dornan as Hosts. Both of these can now be streamed on Peacock.
All of this leads to the pressing question: Will there be a brand new SNL episode airing tonight, April 4?

Black is currently captivating audiences as the voice of Bowser in The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, now playing in theaters.
Former cast member Amy Poehler once lauded Black as her “all-time favorite host” on an April 2025 episode of her Good Hang podcast, a sentiment surely shared by many fans. His immense talent as an actor, his musical prowess with Tenacious D, and his larger-than-life comedic persona establish him as an incredibly versatile star.
Black’s musical counterpart for the evening also boasts an impressive history with SNL. Tonight will mark White’s seventh time performing on the show, a journey that began with The White Stripes way back in 2002 (you can watch his debut here).
