Williams concluded the game with two points (from 1-of-2 field goals, 0-of-1 three-pointers), eight rebounds, and three assists during his 16 minutes on the court in Tuesday’s 116-107 triumph over the Raptors.
While Williams received limited playing time in this matchup, his role is expected to expand considerably on Wednesday against Detroit. This is due to Chet Holmgren (back) being doubtful and Isaiah Hartenstein resting, which positions Williams as the primary candidate to step into the rotation.
