What is the Plot of La Brea?
The series begins with a cataclysmic event at the iconic La Brea tar pits, where a gigantic sinkhole abruptly swallows hundreds of commuters mid-morning. Among those pulled into the swirling abyss are Eve Harris (Zea) and her son, Josh (Martin). Miraculously surviving the impossible fall, they find themselves in an utterly unfamiliar, primeval landscape. Disoriented by a world devoid of cellular signals, illuminated by an inexplicable green sky light, and lacking any trace of modern civilization, they seek out other survivors, desperate to understand their predicament. However, before they can unravel the mystery of their new location, the disparate group must unite to face the myriad dangers lurking in this strange environment. Between encountering fierce animal predators, deciphering cryptic structures in the dense forest, and struggling to secure sustenance and medical aid, the survivors have an immense challenge ahead.
