Mohamed Salah is set to depart from Liverpool at the close of the season, the Premier League club confirmed on Tuesday.
The 33-year-old attacker joined the Reds from Roma in 2017 and has since accumulated 435 appearances for Liverpool, netting 255 goals.
“Mohamed Salah will bring his distinguished career with Liverpool Football Club to an end following the conclusion of the 2025-26 season,” Liverpool stated in a press release.
“The forward has reached an understanding with the Reds, which will see him conclude a notable nine-year journey at Anfield.
“Salah communicated his desire to make this announcement to the club’s supporters as soon as possible, aiming to offer clarity about his future out of respect and appreciation for them.”
