Despite Niall Horan typically keeping his romance with Amelia Woolley private, he has now shared details about their initial encounter.
Over the course of their relationship, which reportedly began in 2020, the English woman has consistently supported Niall through various life events, including standing by him during the difficult time of mourning his One Direction bandmate, Liam Payne.
The Mullingar native has now confessed that he felt an instant connection with Amelia, realizing she was “the one” immediately upon meeting her, and has clarified the rather elegant circumstances of their first encounter.
It’s quite a transformation from the earnest, slightly flushed teenager who once declared himself the “next Justin Bieber” to Katy Perry and the X Factor judges, to now hosting sophisticated dinner parties.
“Does it ever drive you crazy, just how fast the night changes?!” Niall revealed on Capital Breakfast that Amelia’s attendance at one of his elegant dinner parties marked the beginning of their romance.
When queried if he had prepared Coq au Vin, he chuckled, admitting, ‘Oh Jesus, I actually can’t even remember what it was, but I do remember her being like a late addition through like a mutual friend that we had.’
‘She arrived in, and we just got chatting, and here we are,’ he recounted, concluding with the popular TikTok phrase: ‘When you know, you know.’
Capital Breakfast host Jordan North also spoke highly of Amelia, a fashion buyer, noting: ‘She’s honestly so properly sound, and really funny,’ then remarking: ‘And loves an Aperol spritz.’
