NJ Transit has agreed to pay a $9 million settlement to six former employees. The women had accused their supervisor of serious misconduct, including forcible kissing, inappropriate touching, public indecency, and stalking.
This marks one of the most significant settlements in NJ Transit’s operational history.
Each of the six plaintiffs — whose names are being withheld by NorthJersey.com due to the sensitive nature of their allegations — will be awarded $1.5 million. A share of this compensation will be directed to their attorney, Lisa Manshel of Florham Park-based Manshel Law, LLC.
