COLUMBUS, Ohio — The No. 2 Ohio State wrestling team (17-0, 6-0) is set to conclude its 2025-26 dual season schedule, first facing No. 1 Penn State (13-0, 7-0) on Friday evening (7 p.m. on BTN). Following this highly anticipated matchup, the Buckeyes will travel to College Park for a Sunday afternoon clash (2 p.m. on B1G+) against Maryland (4-8, 0-7).
- The Buckeyes recently secured a victory over No. 5 Iowa, marking their third consecutive and final home dual win at the Covelli Center in 2026. This followed impressive triumphs against No. 25 Wisconsin (30-10) and No. 13 Michigan (26-16), before ultimately besting the Hawkeyes (24-9).
- Ohio State is enjoying its most successful start in program history, boasting a pristine 17-0 record. The squad completed its home season with a perfect 7-0 slate, the best home performance ever recorded at the Covelli Center. Their streak of 17 consecutive dual victories also stands as a new school record.
- When facing ranked opponents this season, Ohio State has maintained an unblemished record: 4-0 against Top 5 teams, 8-0 versus Top 10 teams, and 11-0 when competing against Top 25 teams.
