The AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am continues with its second round today, offering golf enthusiasts their final chance to witness celebrities like Travis Kelce and Ron DeSantis on the course.
Following today’s play, the amateur participants will step aside, making way for the PGA Tour professionals to dominate Pebble Beach for the remainder of the weekend. Ryo Hisatsune demonstrated exceptional form, posting a 10-under-par 62 in Round 1, capped by three consecutive birdies. Chris Gotterup, fresh off his second victory of the season, also maintained his momentum, finishing 8 under and tied with Tony Finau.
Sam Burns delivered a strong 9-under performance, while Patrick Rodgers, Keegan Bradley, Akshay Bhatia, and Jordan Spieth were among those positioned near the top of the leaderboard as Round 2 commenced. Rory McIlroy’s season debut saw him shoot 4 under, while Scottie Scheffler encountered early difficulties for the third tournament in a row. However, he needn’t worry about the cut, as this week’s event does not feature one.
