Serie A: Bologna vs. Udinese – Confirmed line-ups and updates

Riccardo Orsolini and Jonathan Rowe are set to return to Bologna’s attack as Vincenzo Italiano and his squad prepare for their Serie A clash against Udinese on Monday evening.

Bologna arrives at this fixture following a 1-0 victory away at Brann in the first leg of their Europa League play-off round tie on Thursday. The Rossoblu also recently secured a 2–1 win over Torino in their most recent Serie A match, which successfully halted a five-game winless streak in the league.

Udinese recently suffered a 2-1 home defeat against Sassuolo in their last Serie A match. As a result, they currently sit one point and one position below Bologna ahead of Monday night’s game.

Bologna has made a considerable number of changes from their Europa League triumph on Thursday. Five new players—Joao Mario, Tommaso Pobega, Riccardo Orsolini, Simon Sohm, and Jonathan Rowe—are all reinstated into the starting XI. They come in for Nadir Zortea, Nikola Moro, Lewis Ferguson, Federico Bernardeschi, and Nicolo Cambiaghi, respectively.

Following their loss to Sassuolo, Udinese has also made three personnel changes, with Kingsley Ehizibue, Jakub Piotorowski, and Adam Buksa stepping in to replace Nicolo Bertola, Jurgen Ekkelenkamp, and Vakoun Bayo.
