INDIANAPOLIS – The Phoenix Suns are set to play the league-worst Indiana Pacers on Thursday, March 12, at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, as their six-game road swing continues.
Grayson Allen and Haywood Highsmith, both managing right knee injuries, are still questionable, but Jordan Goodwin (left calf injury management) has been upgraded to available for the first game of this back-to-back series.
Phoenix (38-27) will then play the Toronto Raptors (36-28) on March 13.
Dillon Brooks (fractured left hand) and Mark Williams (left foot third metatarsal stress reaction) will not play against the Pacers (15-50).
Indiana stands as the sole NBA team mathematically eliminated from playoff contention.
All three players — Allen, Goodwin, and Highsmith — participated in the 129-114 victory against the Milwaukee Bucks, which kicked off their current road trip.
Given that the Indiana game marks the first of a back-to-back, Allen and Highsmith are expected to be available for the subsequent game against Toronto.
Following their matchup with the Raptors on March 13, Phoenix will have two days of rest before facing the Boston Celtics (43-22) on March 16.
The Pacers will be without Johnny Furphy (right ACL tear) and Tyrese Haliburton (right Achilles tendon tear), with numerous other players listed as questionable or doubtful.
Quenton Jackson (right calf soreness) and All-Star Pascal Siakam (right knee sprain) are both considered doubtful to play.
T.J. McConnell (right hamstring soreness), Andrew Nembhard (low back and neck soreness), Aaron Nesmith (right ankle injury management), and Ivica Zubac (left ankle sprain) are all currently questionable.
