A fresh album from Shaggy has been revealed.
The acclaimed Grammy winner plans to launch ‘Lottery’ on May 15, distributed via VP Records and his personal label, Ranch Entertainment.
Primarily self-produced, with assistance from long-standing partner Shane Hoosong, the album’s first single, “Looking Lovely,” introduces its sound. This track features American vocalist Robin Thicke (seen here) and blends reggae and R&B styles, notably incorporating a sample from Bill Withers’ timeless soul hit, “Lovely Day.”
Previous singles by Shaggy, such as “Dancehall Nice” featuring Beres Hammond and Dexta Daps, “Boom Body” with Akon and Aidonia, and “Til A Mawnin” alongside Sting, are also slated to be part of this album. Scroll down for the complete list of tracks.
In the forthcoming months, Shaggy is set to perform across the US, Canada, UK, and Europe. His commitments include festival slots at Reggae Land in Milton Keynes National Bowl and Boomtown Fair in Winchester this August. Tickets for these events are currently available.
Shaggy’s prior album, ‘Com Fly Wid Me’, came out in 2022. The previous year saw the release of ‘Move (The Remixes)’, which compiled various versions of his 2024 single featuring Lavinia.
