New information regarding Ozzfest’s comeback has been provided by Sharon Osbourne.

On The Osbournes Podcast‘s most recent installment, Sharon revealed that the festival’s revival is slated for 2027 in Aston, Birmingham, England – the birthplace of the late Ozzy Osbourne – prior to its expansion into the United States.

Sharon stated, “Our intention is to hold a two-day event in Aston Villa, followed by a venture into America. We are eager to gather suggestions from everyone regarding potential locations in the U.S.”

Furthermore, Sharon expressed her desire for Ozzfest to resume its status as a comprehensive touring festival by the year 2028.

Ozzfest, established by Sharon in the ’90s and, naturally, named in honor of Ozzy, grew into a cornerstone event within the hard rock and metal community throughout the late 1990s and early 2000s. It was instrumental in launching the careers of acts such as Linkin Park, Slipknot, and Deftones.

The most recent Ozzfest took place on New Year’s Eve in 2018, located in Los Angeles. This event was Ozzy’s last complete live show prior to the 2025 “Back to the Beginning” concert, where he performed a solo segment alongside a reassembled Black Sabbath. Ozzy passed away slightly more than two weeks afterward, on July 22.

Separately, Sharon hinted at a panel discussion during the 2026 MIDEM conference in France that a memorial statue of Ozzy is set to be unveiled at the French festival Hellfest.

Hellfest had previously revealed a statue honoring Lemmy Kilmister, the late Motörhead frontman and a long-standing friend and colleague of Ozzy’s.
