Renowned author and motivational speaker, Tim Tebow, is dedicated to reaching out to the world’s “most vulnerable people.”
“If we have been so fortunate and blessed to have heard the good news of the gospel, how selfish would I be if I didn’t tell people about the greatest love story, rescue mission of all time?” the former NFL player inquired during a conversation with Fox Nation. He added, “I think sometimes in life, we mistake our platform for our purpose.”
He revealed that his objective during his athletic career was to “try to be the best” and potentially “even an MVP.”
“But I knew that God was pricking my heart that ‘I have a more important MVP for you to chase,’” Tebow elaborated. “You see, the one I was chasing was the most valuable player. The one He wants me to chase is the most vulnerable people. He was challenging me, saying, ‘Timmy, which one will you care about more?’”
“You are going to have trials or tribulations, but take heart…choose courage,” he continued, referencing John 16:33.
“When we look at Scripture and the meaning of the word ‘bold,’ it means to put it all on the line to do what is necessary. There will never be a day that we wake up where what Jesus did on the cross will be outdone or undone,” the former quarterback stressed.

He dedicates himself to the MVP initiative through his Tim Tebow Foundation, which has a mission to “bring Faith, Hope and Love to those needing a brighter day in their darkest hour of need.”
Their efforts include combating human trafficking and child exploitation, providing orphan care, addressing medical needs, and assisting individuals with special needs.
“I have spent a lot of time in my life chasing championships, awards and trying to be the MVP, the most valuable player,” Tebow stated. “But ultimately, God opened my eyes and wrecked my heart to help me realize that our Savior, Jesus, died for humanity and has called and commanded us to go care for and love His MVPs — the Most Vulnerable People in the world.”
“When we first had the idea for If the Tree Could Speak, we honestly didn’t know if there was a place for it in the world. It was such a unique concept, but we wanted to trust what God put on our hearts. God clearly had a plan,” Tebow revealed.
“The cross is no longer a tool of torture. It’s a symbol that points to a Savior,” he added. “This book was always about helping people rediscover that truth — to not just think about what happened on the cross, but who it happened to…The Carpenter. The King. The Son of God. The One who still gives life today.”
Tebow’s journey offers a powerful testament to the outcomes of trusting in God.
