This evening in Indio, California, Matteo Milleri, the Italian-American DJ and producer universally recognized as Anyma, will unveil *ÆDEN*, his ambitious new audiovisual endeavor, on Coachella’s primary stage. This headlining set, scheduled for an encore performance next Friday, signifies the launch of an extensive global tour, traversing from Shanghai to Brussels, Ibiza, London, and beyond, before concluding at Paris La Défense Arena in December. It promises an exhilarating and thought-provoking experience for enthusiasts of the vibrant textures and pulsating rhythms characteristic of Anyma’s most celebrated tracks.
However, preceding these events, he collaborated with another influential international sensation, Lisa, to drop the club-ready single “Bad Angel” just this past Wednesday. With over six million streams already accumulated on Spotify and YouTube, the track debuted alongside a visually stunning music video. In the video, Lisa—clad in a white bodysuit and sporting long, silvery hair—metamorphoses into Beatrix, an alter ego that combines human, angelic, and seemingly android traits, inhabiting a dazzling transitional realm between ancient history and a futuristic, dystopian landscape. (According to Anyma, the aesthetic and conceptual framework of *ÆDEN* seeks to bridge the imaginative idea of a “digital afterlife,” where “human-uploaded intelligences and artificial intelligences strive for coexistence,” with the broad narrative structure of Dante Alighieri’s *Divina Commedia*.)
