Among his distinguished career achievements, Swae Lee earned widespread acclaim for his 2018 smash hit “Sunflower” featuring music icon Post Malone. The track created history as the first-ever double-diamond certified single by the Recording Industry Association of America, marking an astounding 20 million sales and streams. This immensely successful song soared to No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard Top 100 chart, maintained a top 10 position for 33 weeks, and was featured in the soundtrack for the film “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.”
Recognized for his distinctive vocal style and genre-bending musical approach, Swae Lee first gained prominence as one half of the hip-hop duo Rae Sremmurd. The group’s notable tracks include “No Flex Zone,” “No Type,” and the multi-platinum single “Black Beatles,” which topped the Billboard Hot 100 and spurred the viral Mannequin Challenge across social media in 2016.
Beyond his contributions with Rae Sremmurd, Swae Lee has forged an impressive solo career. He has garnered Grammy Award nominations for three separate singles and accumulated several other honors, including recognition from the Billboard Music Awards and MTV Video Music Awards.
Swae Lee’s extensive list of collaborators includes pop artists Madonna and Ellie Goulding, as well as renowned rappers like Drake, French Montana, Travis Scott, and Wiz Khalifa, among many others. He consistently attracts nearly 40 million monthly listeners on Spotify.
