B2K Wows at Boys 4 Life Tour 23 Years After No. 1 Hit ‘Bump Bump Bump’

Boy bands are currently enjoying a huge resurgence, providing Millennials with a delightful trip down memory lane to a more innocent period, fueled by the tunes that defined their childhood and teenage years.

Last month, the celebrated 2000s R&B collective B2K launched their highly anticipated co-headlining Boys 4 Life Tour alongside Bow Wow. Accompanied by a roster of talented artists known for their memorable throwback hits, the four-member groupโ€”featuring Omarion, J-Boog, Lil’ Fizz, and Raz-Bโ€”is experiencing renewed popularity after setting aside past differences to officially reunite (with new music reportedly on the horizon…).

The eventโ€”which also showcased Pretty Ricky,Amerie, Waka Flocka, B5, Yung Joc, Dem Franchize Boyz, and Crime Mobโ€”is a tribute to their 25th anniversary, marking over two decades since both musical acts first shared the stage during 2002’s Scream Tour II, an influential moment that remains a cherished memory for their dedicated fans.

The tour’s tenth stop at Washington, D.C.’s Capital One Arena on Sunday, March 8, was filled with roaring fan enthusiasm for witnessing the boy band grace the stage together once more. Performing both as a unit and showcasing individual talents, the vocalists guided the audience through their discography, with concertgoers singing every lyric.

The group’s performance featured a medley of hits, including “Why I Love You,” “Gots Ta Be,” and their chart-topping party anthem, “Bump Bump Bump,” which climbed to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in February 2003. Twenty-three years later, the members still possess their undeniable charisma, captivating the crowd with their dynamic stage presence, smooth choreography, and flawless singing. More than two decades may have elapsed since their inception, but on stage, they demonstrated they hadn’t lost a step.

Initially announced in November 2025, the 28-city concert series, organized by Black Promoters Collective, continues until Sunday, April 19, concluding in Hampton, Virginia. Tickets are accessible for purchase online.
