The victor of the Duke-Clemson matchup will advance to Saturday’s championship game (8:30 p.m., ESPN) to challenge No. 2 seed Virginia, which decisively defeated third-seeded Miami in the initial semifinal.

Duke, with a 30-2 record, is fresh off an 80-79 triumph over Florida State on Thursday night.
Sophomore guard Isaiah Evans delivered a career-best 32 points, sinking seven 3-pointers, in their recent victory. ACC player of the year Cameron Boozer contributed 23 points and 10 rebounds.
The Blue Devils have extended their winning streak to nine games, orchestrating a 19-2 surge in the second half after facing an eight-point deficit with 13 minutes remaining. Maliq Brown also pulled down 12 rebounds.
Conversely, Clemson narrowly defeated UNC 80-79 on Thursday evening, nearly squandering an 18-point advantage in the second half.
Senior guard Dillon Hunter contributed 14 points for the Tigers (24-9) and flawlessly converted 4-for-4 free throws in the final minute. Six players for Clemson reached double figures in scoring.
