For Saturday’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks, the Phoenix Suns will be without several key players: Grayson Allen (left knee inflammation), Royce O’Neale (left knee soreness), Haywood Highsmith (right knee injury management), and Amir Coffey (left ankle sprain).
Mark Williams (left foot third metatarsal stress reaction) and Dillon Brooks (left hand fracture) are also still unavailable.
O’Neale will miss his second consecutive game, marking his first two absences this season. He has been averaging 9.9 points on 41.6% shooting overall and 40.3% from beyond the arc, alongside 4.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists per contest. In Tuesday’s loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Suns’ forward contributed nine points, two rebounds, two assists, and three steals.
Allen will be sidelined for his third consecutive game due to ongoing left knee soreness. This adds to his season total of 24 missed games, which have stemmed from a variety of issues like a right quad contusion, illness, and previous knee soreness.
Across 44 appearances, the Suns’ guard has averaged 17.2 points, shooting 40.7% from the field and 35.3% from three-point range, complemented by 4.1 assists and three rebounds per game.
Coffey exited Thursday’s game against the San Antonio Spurs during the first half and did not return. In his 13 games played this season, Coffey has posted an average of 4.1 points.
