The Jackie Robinson Museum, situated in Lower Manhattan, is gearing up to celebrate “Jackie Robinson Day” this coming weekend.
The renowned baseball figure made his inaugural appearance with the Brooklyn Dodgers on April 15th, 1947, a monumental event that broke the color barrier in modern major league baseball.
Over the weekend, the museum will be hosting a variety of engaging activities for visitors. These include chances for fans to personalize baseball caps with artwork inspired by Robinson, alongside story time and craft sessions designed for children.
Furthermore, the museum will be accessible to the public on Jackie Robinson Day itself, Wednesday, April 15th.
