LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — An AMBER Alert has been issued for a 10-month-old child abducted by a non-custodial parent.
According to North Las Vegas Police, the infant, Leilani Williams (also known as Leilani Duke), was taken by her father, Roderick Duke.
The last sighting of Duke and Leilani occurred at 1:40 a.m. at an apartment complex near Martin L. King Boulevard and Cheyenne Avenue.
Duke is thought to be operating a blue 2017 Chrysler 200; the license plate number is currently unknown.
Authorities describe Duke, age 29, as being 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 180 pounds, with black hair and black eyes.
Leilani’s last known attire was a white jumper adorned with pink trim and flowers.
The NLVPD stated that the AMBER Alert was activated because Roderick is experiencing an emotional crisis and has threatened to harm both himself and 10-month-old Leilani.
