Lingering Pinterest Issues, But Rate of Reports Declining
Roughly an hour after the initial wave of outage reports, Downdetector indicates a decrease, showing 2,746 reports at 2:41 p.m. ET, a drop from the peak of 4,102 reports around 2:26 p.m. Despite this improvement, a notable number of users are still experiencing difficulties accessing the service.

On X (previously Twitter), a Pinterest user shared encountering an error message upon launching the application. The specific message displayed when trying to load their board reads: “User experience data retrieval failure in experience request.”
Downdetector Shows Reports Exceeding 4,000
Approximately 15 minutes later, the volume of users reporting Pinterest problems surged to 4,066 on Downdetector. Concurrently, Threads user blackraven_76kimk has stated they are experiencing missing boards and difficulties saving pins.
Downdetector Indicates Over 3,549 Reports and Rising
The number of users experiencing Pinterest issues continues to climb. As of 2:13 p.m., Downdetector shows more than 3,549 reported incidents. Users on X (formerly Twitter) and Threads are also reporting that many of their boards are failing to load correctly.
