Power outages leave over 18,000 customers without power as cold front sweeps through

SAN ANTONIO – More than 18,000 customers are currently without power as a cold front, bringing winds exceeding 50 mph, sweeps across South Central Texas.

By approximately 9:30 p.m. Sunday, CPS Energy’s outage map indicated that over 18,000 customers were impacted by more than 55 distinct power outage events citywide.

These power disruptions are predominantly located on San Antonio’s South and West Sides. CPS Energy personnel are rapidly working to resolve these issues and restore electricity.
