The Seattle Seahawks have decided to match the multiyear offer sheet presented by the Jacksonville Jaguars to wide receiver Jake Bobo, according to a source who informed ESPN’s Field Yates.
Bobo, classified as a restricted free agent, officially signed the offer sheet on Friday, granting the Seahawks a five-day period to equal its terms. Reports from NFL Network indicate the offer sheet is valued at $5.5 million, with $4.5 million guaranteed. The total compensation could reach $7 million if specific incentives are met.
Last season, Bobo recorded two catches for 20 yards. During the Seahawks’ successful postseason run to a Super Bowl championship, he added two receptions for 33 yards, including a pivotal 17-yard touchdown in the NFC Championship Game.
He is an integral component of the Seahawks’ special teams units and is recognized as their top blocking wide receiver.
Bobo initially joined the Seahawks in 2023 as an undrafted free agent. Throughout his professional NFL career, he has accumulated 34 receptions for a total of 323 yards and three touchdowns.
