Sources: Dennis Rodman to be inducted into WWE Hall of Fame

Reports from ESPN’s Shams Charania on Friday indicate that NBA Hall of Famer Dennis Rodman is set to join the WWE Hall of Fame.

Rodman, renowned for his five NBA championships won with the Detroit Pistons and Chicago Bulls, boasts a professional wrestling career comprising four matches, three of which were contested in WCW.

His WCW debut occurred in 1997, and he notably missed a practice during the 1998 NBA Finals to participate in “WCW Monday Nitro.” During this appearance, he arranged a tag team contest where he teamed up with Hulk Hogan against Diamond Dallas Page and Karl Malone.

The WWE Hall of Fame includes a celebrity division, which has previously honored various sports personalities like Pete Rose, William Perry, Bob Uecker, Mike Tyson, and Muhammad Ali.

The induction ceremony for the Hall of Fame is scheduled for April 17 in Las Vegas, coinciding with WrestleMania weekend.

Rodman previously received induction into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame back in 2011.
